In the Point of Sale, you can leave items on the screen for a customer, wait on another customer, then come back to this customer and process their invoice. Sometimes you might do that to hold an item for a customer as well.

 

But because of this feature, you can end up with a bunch of inventory items sitting on customers POS screens until they come in or your process them, or forever. So, if you go to the first screen in the Point of Sale, under the Edit Menu, there is an item called All POS Items.

 

 

From here, you can delete the items, or you can click on the copy button and the POS ID will be copied to the paste buffer. You can then go to the normal POS screen and click on the paste button to find the customer that has this and possibly more items on the POS screen. Then you can use the F7 Button to delete everything, or call the customer and ask "Sup!"
