Barcode readers work pretty much like a keyboard. They interpret the barcode and press enter. Digital Wrench is barcode ready. Because there's not much to it, you can probably make most barcode readers work well with Digital Wrench.

 

We found a reader that is inexpensive and wireless that seems to work well. It is a NuScan 5200TR from Adesso. It's around $200 these days and can be found everywhere.
